The Hotline is a Municipal Oversight and Monitoring Unit responsible for handling residents' inquiries regarding information about municipal services and activities, as well as reporting hazards and nuisances in the city.

The Center operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and serves as a single point of contact for residents to receive answers to their inquiries and for the municipality to coordinate the handling of resident inquiries.

Most of the Hotline's activity takes place during normal hours and quiet times, dealing with issues such as electricity, roads, sidewalks, landscaping, pest control, engineering and veterinary services, parking and traffic, street cleaning, supervision and policing, business licensing, welfare, and other issues related to the city and its residents. The Center forwards requests to the relevant Municipal Departments and external companies that provide services to the municipality (electricity, traffic lights, green spaces, park maintenance, etc.).

The strength of the Center is evident in its ability to respond quickly to routine emergencies such as extreme weather conditions, water outages, fire, terrorism, murder, and more.

In addition, the Municipal Center is dynamic and creative and provides a response in times of crisis/emergency, such as missile strikes, days of war, and earthquakes.

The Municipal Center manager provides varied training to the Center staff and works to create a positive work environment.
