The Public Library

• The “Dorot - Generations” Library is committed to preserving its traditional and valuable role while emphasizing development and innovation.
• The Library serves as an example and model for other libraries by creating unique and diverse initiatives to reduce gaps and provide equal opportunities for all residents of Lod and beyond, especially disadvantaged populations.
• The Library constantly strives to serve as an attraction and a warm home for multicultural and community encounters that broaden horizons, alongside a center for learning, intellectual enrichment, and research institutes.
• The Library offers a variety of options and tools for parents to develop habits and instill a culture of reading among children from an early age.
• The library has extensive collections in a variety of formats and foreign languages (English, Russian, Arabic, and French), providing direct and free access to all segments of the population from anywhere and at any time.
   
• The library boasts a huge collection of high-quality books in Russian.

The library staff is highly service-oriented, providing personal service and support to library members who need help with basic needs such as filling out online forms for the authorities, printing, scanning, photocopying, binding, laminating, and more.

Hours

• Adults: Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
• Children: Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
• Foreign languages: Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
