The Field of Developmental Intellectual Disabilities

The Lod Municipality, through the Social Integration Administration, works to address and improve the quality of life of children and adults with intellectual disabilities and their families. The department has even won the Shalem Fund Award for Excellence in the field of care for people with developmental intellectual disabilities. The therapeutic approach that guides our work is that we must help people with disabilities realize their potential and promote their integration into the community. Services are provided in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Social Services, the authority's policy, and the approved budget.
