The Lod Municipality will operate after-school programs in the city's educational institutions in accordance with the Ministry of Education's “Nitzanim” program.

After-school program prices and payment terms:

Pre-compulsory kindergartens: NIS 500 per year (up to 2 payments by credit card/check or one payment in cash)

Grades 1-2: NIS 500 per year (up to 2 payments by credit card/check or one payment in cash)

Grades 3: NIS 3,000 per year (up to 10 payments by credit card/check or one payment in cash)

 

The Government has not yet decided on the prices for after-school programs for Preschoolers and Grades 1-2 for the 2024-2025 school year. There may be changes in the rates for Preschoolers and Grades 1-2 depending on the decisions of the Government and the Ministry of Education.

After-school program start date: September 1, 2024.

The opening of a group is contingent upon a minimum number of registrants at the same institution.

Cancellation of registration: Cancellations can be made until October 31, 2024. After this date, no refunds will be given.

Payment for after-school programs is annual and cannot be paid for part of the period.

There are no sibling discounts or other discounts.

The Municipality may cancel registration due to late/delayed payment after two days' notice.

The Nitzanim Program is a nationwide program of after-school programs subsidized by the Ministry of Education to extend the school day for ages 3-8 in educational institutions.

The Nitzanim Program provides students and their parents with:

  • Academic and social advancement for students
     
  • An opportunity for parents to integrate into the workforce
     
  • An additional learning framework: social engagement, support, and academic enrichment
     
  • An emphasis on pedagogical quality
     
  • A hot, healthy, and nutritious meal
