Education in Lod
The vision of the Education Department is to provide educational and values-based solutions to the diverse needs of the population, taking into account the unique characteristics of the City of Lod.
The Department works to empower educational leadership and teaching staff, while fostering respectful and personal dialogue between teachers and students and creating unique learning environments that encourage creative and active teaching. Within this framework, the department encourages and initiates unique programs and various educational initiatives, including programs for excellence and fulfillment, programs that foster community involvement and contribution, and educational programs in line with the City's central theme. The department promotes innovative pedagogy in the fields of science, technology, and communications, and provides unique and tailored solutions for students with special needs. The department provides students and families with enrichment, reinforcement, assessment, counseling, and tailored treatment services.
The division's activities reflect the educational vision and bring it to fruition through multi-year programs in line with the Ministry of Education's programs. The education system is geared toward this vision and works to achieve it through cooperation and pooling of resources among all formal education entities in the city.
